Early Bird Workout

It’s been a while since She Rocks Fitness has posted a workout and this is a great one hour circuit that can be performed right when you wake up! So grab your dumbbells, yoga mat, stability ball, a cold glass of water, turn on the morning news, and wake up.  It’s a circuit that will work the entire body. If you still have energy at the end of the day, it would be a great idea to go for a long walk or a quick run around the park to get a complete and satisfying workout. Let’s get started!

Repeat this circuit 2 times with a 30 second rest between each exercise:

  • 1 Minute of Jumping Jacks
  • 1 Minute of Squats
  • 15x Burpee
  • 1 Minute of Push-Ups
  • 1 Minute of Plank
  • 15x Mountain Climbers
  • 1 Minute regular Sit-Ups on the ball
  • 1 Minute twist Sit-Ups on the ball
  • 1 Minute Plank with Forearms on the ball
  • 1 Minute Plank with Feet on the ball and Forearms on the ground

Perform this circuit 2 times with 20 repetitions and 1 minute rest in between:

  • Squat with Shoulder Press
  • Lunges with Biceps Curl
  • Plie with Lateral Raise
  • Chest Press on the ball
  • Shoulder Press on the ball
  • Biceps Curl on the ball
  • Standing Row
  • Triceps Kickback
  • Hammer Curl
  • Leg Curl with the ball
  • Bridge with the ball
  • Fire Hydrant
